Guardian Angels
Named. Credited. Celebrated. The opposite of the Wall of Shame — the friends, family, peers, sponsors, providers, and strangers who refused to look away.
Recovery is never a solo mission. Someone always shows up.
Sometimes it's a parent who never stopped answering the phone. Sometimes it's a sponsor who drove across town at 2 a.m. Sometimes it's a nurse who treated you like a person instead of a chart. Sometimes it's a friend who sat with you in silence on the worst night of your life and didn't try to fix it.
These are the Guardian Angels. We name them on purpose — because the people who do this work usually never get thanked, and because the next survivor needs to know what an angel actually looks like in real life. It's not a halo. It's a phone call returned. A door left unlocked. A ride. A meal. A name.
Know one? Tell us. Their name, what they did, how to reach them if they're willing to be featured. We'll write it up with you (not about you), get their permission, and put their name on the wall.
Nominate through the intake formThe first cohort of Guardian Angels is being assembled now — with their consent, their words, and their photos when they want them. Check back as the wall grows. If you want to be the first, see the nominate button above.
